About Race Against the Machine
By locals, for locals.
We grew up in Flemington, so we know the struggle—there’s not much to do around here. Now that we’re adults (with kids of our own), we found ourselves driving 40+ minutes just to find something fun for birthdays or a night out. So we decided to change that.
Enter: our escape rooms. Part passion project, part nerdy obsession, and 100% designed to give families, teens, and adults something exciting to do right here in town. Whether you’re celebrating, bonding, or just looking for a brain-teasing adventure, we’ve got your fun covered—no long drive required.
This idea wasn't born in a vacuum though- we opened RAtM to help support our other business- a farm animal rescue and sanctuary, Baling Twine and Hope! Our goal is to have a portion the revenue from Race Against the Machine support the rescue and maybe even expand to help more animals! Check us out at balingtwineandhope.org.
Baling Twine and Hope's mission is to Educate Humans and Save Animals. We have rescued and rehabilitated many animals (mostly horses, like Wick. Wick was Harness racing horse who arrived to BTH in horrible condition. We nursed him (and many others like him) back to health and found him a perfect forever family.
